Every year Pantone puts out their color of the year and in 2020 it was a beautiful deep blue. We installed severalkitchen island cabinets in blue. We don’t see that trend stopping and more bright colors will be making it into 2021 wall colors and cabinetry, like bright yellow Pantone 13-0647, in addition to bright greens.
Cabinetry color (and paint colors in general) should be an extension of you! Most homeowners spend several hours a day in the kitchen and it can be a place of boldness. If you choose a bright color for the cabinetry, keep the walls and tile simple. Every design element aspect does not have to “bold”. Adding softer elements balances out the space. Maybe bring in some natural wood tones using floating shelves, wood countertops or home décor.
