We turned this two-bedroom, dysfunctional third-floor in-law unit into a luxury apartment. With floor plan adjustments, we added a secondary bedroom, two large closets, a family room entertainment wall, and a laundry area. We opened the walls and replaced the shower wall with a glass enclosure for a full view of the beautiful rolling hills. And what in-law unit would be complete without a kitchenette? This little kitchen nook is more functional than it appears, with a large refrigerator and a compact size convection oven, filtered water system, and large single bowl sink, it fits the bill for fast on-the-go meals. With wall-mount AC units, a fresh coat of paint, beautiful luxury vinyl plank floor, and new light fixtures…this place functions and looks like a new home!
