We transformed this family’s backyard into an entertaining extravaganza! The homeowners recently purchased the home and requested a yard design that could accommodate several spaces in which the family members could spread out (to entertain their own friends), plus a large family/party space within the backyard.
- Everyone’s Space(s) – complete renovation of pool by relocating the spa and adding an infinity edge, redesigned shape, new plaster and PebbleTec, tile, pump, and added freshwater system. Finished decking with colored concrete pavers and natural stone throughout. Plus, a custom pergola for outdoor dining, ping pong area, and outdoor shower
- Mom’s Space(s) – quiet time was created by adding several raised garden beds, rose garden, small vineyard, and a gas firepit sitting area
- Dad’s Space – covered outdoor pavilion kitchen with cedar vaulted ceilings with heaters, fans and recessed lights, stone counters/island with built-in BBQ/smoker, cooktop, stainless steel sink and appliances, and used identical roof and stone materials to match existing home
- Son’s Space(s) – planted a large grass area in both front and back yards for football and lacrosse playing fields, and added a basketball court
- Daughter’s Space – we added stone steps and path lighting to the top of the back hill which housed a 15’ trampoline and lounge area stabilized by a stack stone retaining wall and decomposed granite flooring
- misc. yard and home improvements – replanted all landscaping, sprinkler and irrigation watering systems, water fountain, ceramic pots, exterior and interior lighting and painting, wrought iron gate and fencing, redwood perimeter fencing, French drain, new windows and doors, custom cabinets and shelving, refinished hardwood floors, furniture inside and out and much more!
